Jessie Hughes defended a relative of mine against some very serious allegations. The case is still pending however she was able to obtain bail for him when all indications pointed to it being unlikely.
When she applied for bail she had a thorough knowledge of the case and was able to respond to potentially damming evidence from the police that was only announced that day. She presented a clear and concise argument that persuaded the judge to grant bail despite the prosecution strongly opposing it. What really impressed me though was her determination. Some people are born fighters and when that is matched by intelligence it is a powerful alley.
In short if you were in the trenches Jessie Hughes is who you want by your side. I want to reiterate that this case is still pending. Having said that, in all honesty from what I have witnessed I wouldn’t want anyone else defending my relative.
